Location & Pickup

Currently, Bakes of Carmel offers a convenient pick-up location in the heart of Carmel (We do not have a storefront). Our address is readily accessible on our website and Google, ensuring a seamless experience for all our cherished patrons until our dream storefront becomes a reality.

As Bakes of Carmel currently operates as a pick-up-only bakery, we don’t keep items readily available. However, on occasion, you might find a few extra treats on hand—simply give us a call to try your luck!

At Bakes of Carmel, all of our buttercreams are crafted as luscious American Buttercream, made with pure, premium butter for an indulgent taste experience. For those with special dietary needs, we also offer allergy-friendly alternatives upon request, ensuring every guest enjoys the perfect sweet touch.

Currently, cookie pick-up days at Bakes of Carmel are reserved for Mondays only, unless you’ve placed a custom order of over one dozen and more. We accept orders for our decadent, 6-ounce New York-style cookies from Monday through Saturday, with each batch ready for collection on the following Monday, ensuring you receive the freshest cookies straight from our oven.
We do NOT offer Decorated sugar cookies of any kind at this time

All Bakes are made to order and are not eligible for a refund, cancellation or return or exchange. We cannot accept returns or offer refunds if you did not like a product. If a product does not meet our standards, please notify us to resolve the matter immediately please contact our office at 317-660-5267.

Please inspect your order upon pick up and let us know immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you received the wrong item before you leave the premises, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right for you. Please read the dessert care instructions for proper thawing, serving, and storage instructions.

Yes! If you need to change your pick-up date, simply let us know by calling at 317-660-5267 at least three days in advance, and we’ll be delighted to accommodate your request.

Customizing Design terms and conditions

We may not create an exact replica of your requested design. While we aim to closely replicate your chosen design, exact matches may not be possible. Our focus is on achieving a similar or even enhanced version of the concept. Additionally, colors and shades may differ slightly from the photos due to natural variations in materials and lighting. By placing a custom order with Bakes of Carmel, you graciously acknowledge and accept our terms. Thank you for trusting our creativity and expertise!

Size and servings

At Bakes of Carmel, we offer three delightful cake sizes: Mini (serving 8–10), Small (serving up to 20), and Medium (serving up to 30). For custom cakes, we create ONLY Small and Medium sizes to ensure every detail meets our high standards—please note, Mini sizes are not available for custom orders.

While we provide information regarding serving sizes, please be aware that this is not a guarantee. The actual servings may vary based on the portions you choose to serve.

Wedding cakes / Custom Cakes more than 30 servings.

For wedding cakes, we welcome advance orders anywhere from a year to a week before your special day, depending on the number of servings. For cakes serving over 30 guests, our pricing is based on a per-serving rate, allowing us to craft a cake tailored to your vision and guest list.
To secure your wedding cake order, a deposit of 50% is required at the time of placement. The remaining 50% balance is due one month prior to your special day. If your order is placed less than a month before the event, we kindly ask for full payment at the time of ordering to ensure timely preparation for your celebration.

We exclusively accept online payments through all major debit and credit cards. Please note that we do not accept cash.

For non-wedding cakes, simply pay in full to secure your order and date. Please note that while we may indicate the availability of a particular date during our phone / email conversation, this does not guarantee your reservation. To secure your spot, an order must be placed promptly; simply calling back later does not guarantee availability.

No, As we operate under Indiana’s Food Cottage Law, we regret to inform you that we are unable to offer delivery services. However, you are welcome to arrange for pick-up and delivery through third-party services of your choice.

All of our cakes, whether mini, small, or medium, are presented on a 10-inch square cake board, from which the cake is not removable. If you plan to display your cake on a different stand, please inform us in advance so we can accommodate your request for an Extra $5 fee.
